Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP completes the Raeford - DeLand - Bedford Spring Tour this week?
posted: Mar 28th, 2016 The audience seems to be convinced that NMP PCH Hayabusa will defend the 4-way title successfully at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving this year. Only 35% believe that Arizona Airspeed still has great or at least 50-50 chances, to win gold medals after the results at the Shamrock Showdown 2016. However, Airspeed's domestic situation is very different so far. The Golden Knights might currently be the strongest opponent, as SDC Rhythm XP ended up behind the U.S. national 4-way team in 4-way Women at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2016 and far behind Arizona Airspeed at the Shamrock... Did you know that Z-Hills PreciZion added three points to Florida's Indoor Cloud League March account?
posted: Mar 27th, 2016 Florida's Indoor Cloud League team used their third March meet at iFLY Orlando to improve this month's total from 120 to 136 points. The distance to the Czech Sportflight team at the Hurricane Factory in Prague is closer than it has been for a long time; however, it is still only enough for the 2nd place on the March leaderboard at the moment. iFLY Orlando's Rookie Class lineup (Lee Perera and Donna Kim, with player coaches Hal Spence and Bob Byrne) improved the previous scores for the R and RR sequences by a total of 13 points. Two other lineups worked on the AAA/AA techniques and sequences... (more)

Did you know that Satori XL touched the bronze medal level in a few rounds in DeLand?
posted: Mar 26th, 2016 The Sun Path Products NSL News covered the history of Satori XL at the Shamrock Showdown with the story on February 28th. The third visit to DeLand at the beginning of a competition season was successfully completed after ten rounds. In fact, Round 10 was probably Satori's favorite one, as the 22-pointer was rewarded with $500 for the highscore after handicap in the Shamrock Showdown Skins Game. However, it was not only the money that made Round 10 the best one for Satori XL. It was also the round where the British national 4-way team showed most clearly the potential for an underdog position... (more)

Did you know that the Jazz Boys beat the Bad Boys in Prague?
posted: Mar 25th, 2016 The Indoor Cloud League activities continued while Paraclete XP Indoor Championship and Shamrock Showdown received most of the recent Sun Path Products NSL News attention. The Czech 4-way teams completed their 5th and last ETL (European Tunnel League) indoor meet of the winter season on March 9th, and the same teams joined forces to add their six scores and videos to the March leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League. The Hurricane Factory is back in 1st place for the running month. The Czech Republic will also once again have a very strong delegation at the World Challenge 2016. Six Czech... (more)

Did you know that the French FLY-IN Girls compete in the AAA/Open Class in Bedford?
posted: Mar 24th, 2016 Four of the seven AAA Class teams who competed at the Shamrock Showdown 2016 in DeLand are now getting ready for the next indoor competition, the World Challenge 2016 in Bedford. 82 teams are currently registered for this year's unofficial indoor world championship, and a new participation record is still in reach. The AAA Class field is once again headed by NMP PCH Hayabusa who will try to win the event for the 6th consecutive time. Arizona Airspeed will not be in Bedford, and there is not much doubt that the Belgian 4-way indoor and outdoor world champions will take the 1st place. However,... (more)

Did you know that the Shamrock Showdown included a 4-way VFS duel?
posted: Mar 23rd, 2016 The Shamrock Showdown 2016 included once again a 4-way VFS competition, as well. SDC Core's team captain Jason Russell was in DeLand last year with his 2015 lineup to use the scoring and judging opportunity at the beginning of the competition season. It turned out to be a valuable experience, and the lineup in DeLand won the gold medals at the USPA Nationals 2015. SDC Core invited more VFS teams to attend this year's Shamrock Showdown. However, only the Golden Knights followed the call and started the 2016 season with a 12.1 outdoor average. The new lineup, with Dan Osorio replacing 8-way... (more)
