posted: Aug 21st, 2016 Last weekend's combined leaderboard is a very interesting one, as it brings together teams from four different countries: Austria - Czech Republic - Netherlands - U.S.A. The three European countries held their national championships and agreed to use the NSL competition draw, which was also applied at four different locations in the U.S.A. (Carolina - Florida - Northwest - Southern). The scores from Europe have been posted and feature teams in all four categories. It becomes even more interesting with a closer look at the AAA Class leaderboard. There are seven national teams in the Top 10... (more)

Did you know that iFLY SFBay and iFLY Orlando are currently tied in 1st place with 865 ICL points?
posted: Aug 21st, 2016 iFLY SFBay's Indoor Cloud League teams came back together last week, and nothing is the same any longer on the August leaderboard. Lori Connor's new lineups did not leave any of the previously posted six scores unimproved, and iFLY SFBay has taken the August lead by nine points over iFLY Orlando. The same nine points would finally eliminate the difference between the two teams, as iFLY Orlando was exactly nine points ahead for the year (865 - 856) at the end of the July competition. iFLY Orlando has the three highscores for AAA - AA - A while iFLY SF Bay outscored the Florida team in the... Did you know that only one 4-way Women team has the same lineup as in Prostejov 2014?
posted: Aug 19th, 2016 The Sun Path Products NSL News now follows up with the introduction of the field in 4-way Women at the Mondial 2016, and the team situation is quite similar compared to the 4-way Open Class. There is only one team that competed with the same lineup at the previous world meet in Prostejov 2014, the Czech Ladies. The Czech Ladies will not be involved in the race for the medals in this 4-way category, and the new mix of lineups is only affecting the previous medal winners and the new medal contenders. The French Girls are back with two reigning world champions in 4-way Women (Christine Malnis,... (more)

posted: Aug 18th, 2016 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on August 9th that Arizona Airspeed's point, Mikhail Markine, broke his hand during a training jump and would not be able to compete at the Mondial 2016. Airspeed has been looking for the best solution for the crisis ever since, which occurred just a month before the start of the most important 4-way competition. The unfortunate story has now at least a happy end since the most wanted substitute has confirmed to help out in the emergency situation. Former Airspeed point Josh Hall will fill the slot until after the event next month and train as much... (more)

Did you know that Norway had record breaking 4-way participation at the national championships?
posted: Aug 16th, 2016 Norway held the national championships at the beginning of August (2 - 6), as well, and the 19 teams in Voss joined forces for a new 4-way record participation since 2007. 15 teams has been the highest number in the past years, and even the inconsistent weather did not keep the teams from visiting Voss. At the same time, it was also the first time since 2009 that the DeLand Norgies, world meet bronze medalists of 1999, 2001 and 2003, missed the national championships. However, the DeLand Norgies fans don't have to worry, as this is not the end of the career of one of the most popular 4-way... (more)
