posted Nov 11th, 2004 - The NSL SkyVenture Competition of the 2004 season is almost at its end. The teams of the Texas Skydiving League concluded the regular 2004 season on October 30. The last tunnel certificates before the NSL Championship 2004 went to Touch N Go for the first place in the AAA Class of the Texas Skydiving League. Six teams competed in the AAA Class that weekend at Skydive Spaceland and guaranteed 30 free SkyVenture tunnel minutes for Touch N Go. The AAA Class winner finished the 2004 season with the team's record average (8.5 - 9.0 - 9.0 - 9.8 - 13.7) and ended up far ahead of the TSL AAA Class field.

The race was much closer in the AA Class where 4 Fun (2004 scores: 2.2 - 3.8 - 3.3 - 2.8 - 5.3) won the first place in the NSL SkyVenture Competition after handicap by 0.24 points. 4 of a Kind posted the highest raw average of the meet (2004 scores: 3.8 - 6.5 - 6.7 - 6.5 - 8.3) and took the second place after handicap. Ten minutes of SkyVenture tunnel time go to 4 Fun.

Rookie Class team Funnel U has already become a TSL regular this year and attended each TSL meet (0.8 - 4.0 - 3.8 - 5.2 - 4.0). The Mod SQUAD signed up as a guest team for the last meet in Texas and ended up ahead of Funnel U before handicap. However, Funnel U managed to barely save a small advantage in the NSL SkyVenture Competition after handicap and won the ten minutes of free tunnel time.

The very last SkyVenture certificates of the 2004 season will be handed out at the NSL Championship 2004 next weekend. The SkyVenture prizes are big once again. The winners of each class after handicap will receive 60 free tunnel minutes, second places will be rewarded with 30 minutes, third places with ten minutes.
