Did You Know...

... that Fastrax has a new line-up for the 2006 season?

posted Nov 30th, 2005 - The NSL News is now back in business after a long break for SkyQuest 2005 preparations and the aftermath of the NSL event. The next stories will cover SkyQuest 2005 and the NSL Championship. The first round of NSL-TV has been posted and can now be viewed by clicking on the usual icons behind the scores.

The first round already features a great performance by the Italian national team Sinapsi PD and a 23-pointer for the AAA Class sequence 20-P-G-L. The follow-up stories will offer more background information of the highly motivated Italian team and explain why Team Fastrax did not compete at Fantasy of Flight.

Italy Sinapsi PD's 23-pointer in round one
Fastrax missed the opportunity to compete with Sinapsi PD and win the NSL Shugar Cup. However, the latest news from the Fastrax headquarters in Indiana are exciting enough to get over the missed honors at the NSL Championship 2005 quickly. Team founder John Hart officially released the names of the Fastrax Open Class line-up for the 2006 season: Niklas Hemlin and John Hart will be joined by Mark Kirkby and Doug Parks, Steve Redinbo will be the team videographer. The NSL News will follow up with more details very soon.
Team America at SkyQuest 2005
The SkyQuest 2005 stories will also include the race for the $4,000 jackpot, which was provided by the Jump Institute, and the hours of free SkyVenture Orlando tunnel time. The AA Class was the most competitive event at Fantasy of Flight, and the three teams shared a total amount of $2,000 in this class.

The Rookie Class honored its first NSL Champion this year. Team America from Texas took home NSL medals, the new Aerodyne Cup of the Rookie Class, one hour of SkyVenture Orlando tunnel time and $500 cash from the Jump Institute. Stay tuned, the next updates are in the works.
