posted Aug 3rd, 2010 - The second NSL Talk session on Tuesday took place after the 4-way teams arrived at the dropzone and while they prepared for their first jumps of the day. The coaches had finished their work with the teams and had time to join the NSL Talk session.

It was a special group, as Gary Smith, Solly Williams and NSL Talk host Joey Jones were DeLand Majik team mates when they won the World Meet 2004 in Croatia. Lenka Mazaeva joined the group by coincidence. The former Lady Birds member came to greet her former coach Solly Williams and could not escape before the camera was running.

This NSL Talk session came after the 8-way competition was over for the day, and the Golden Knights took the lead for the first time in the meet. France had trouble with the first formation after the exit and lost the round without any penalties. Russia had 20 points in time and lost two points, the US Army team was clean once again and is one point up over France with three rounds to go.

NSL Talk on Tuesday with DeLand Majik 3-way

The same NSL Talk session provided an update of the Fun Flag situation. Joey Jones coaches NMP-PCH Hayabusa, and the Belgian team has currently possession of the Fun Flag. Joey Jones said earlier that Hayabusa brought the Fun Flag to the dropzone today and confirmed it during the NSL Talk.

The NSL News camera followed up a few minutes later and inspected the tent of the Belgian delegation. David Grauwels did not hesitate to open his backpack and present the flag to the NSL News camera.

Hayabusa also agreed to visit the NSL News at the end of the day for a new NSL Talk session. They also promised to bring the Fun Flag for this occasion. In the meantime, young alternate Dennis Praet was assigned to guard the flag. He is young and strong and also in the Belgium Army...
