posted Aug 19th, 2014 - Four 4-way teams from Lithuania synchronized their competition draw in three different categories with last weekend's sequences of the international SKYLEAGUE.COM network. Three of the four teams are not new to the Sun Path Products NSL News audience.

Magic 4 is Lithuania's national 4-way team in the Open Class and will once again compete at the upcoming FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014. The SolarFlakes are the national team in 4-way Women, introduced with the story on 11 June 2014.

Equinox has posted scores on the NSL leaderboards several times in the past years and competed this year at the World Challenge 2014 and at one outdoor weekend.

The SolarFlakes will be the first team from Lithuania to compete in 4-way Women at a World Championship of Formation Skydiving, while Magic 4 is experienced in international 4-way competition. Lithuania's 4-way Open Class team also competed at the Mondial Dubai 2012.

Equinox started in the Rookie Class of 2012 and attended six indoor and outdoor meets that year, including World Challenge and ESL Championship. They moved up into the A Class at three meets in 2013 and came back in the same category this year. Equinox plans to move up into the AA Class after the end of the 2014 season at the ESL Championship.

The SolarFlakes started at the end of the 2012 season in the A Class, competed in the AA Class a few months later at the World Challenge 2013 and then moved up into the AAA/Open Class in preparation for the participation at the next world meet.

The national championship was a good warm-up event for both national teams before the trip to Prostejov in the Czech Republic, where they will exit from the same plane that drops the teams in Lithuania, a L-410 Turbolet.

There is also a new team on the Lithuanian leaderboard, PeaceDaBalls, who attended the national championship in the Rookie Class. PeaceDaBalls did not collect any scoring points yet, however, Equinox member Algimantas Skuodis said that the new team had great fun making the first steps in 4-way competition.

The team members are freeflyers who came together for their first traditional 4-way jumps. The three other 4-way teams enjoyed the opportunity to help with preparations and advice. The two national teams will have their next meet opportunity coming up very soon in Prostejov, where SolarFlakes will get help from coach Luc Verstrepen - who was coaching the Qatar Tigers in the past years.
