posted Jul 18th, 2014 - The new meet weekend has arrived, while the previous one turned out to be the busiest one of the 2014 season, with 64 teams using the same competition draw at five different locations.

Last weekend's overall leaderboard is showing meets between two rounds in France and six rounds in the United Kingdom.

Last but not least, the AAA Class leaderboard has now been adjusted, and not much changed at all after using the total number of points after Round 2 for the adjusted rankings. Only the French Air Force team from Nice and Lowabusa switched their slots with a 1-point difference.

The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 12 July 2014 that the three French national teams in the traditional Formation Skydiving events were ready to attend their last competition before the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014.

There was actually a fourth French national team in Maubeuge and quietly posted the third set of meet scores this year.

France always has a 4-way "farm team", or "B-Team", as a part of the official national delegation, and the Artemis Saumur Flyzone lineup (Pamela Lissajoux, Clementine Le Bohec, Aurelien Lemaire, Eliott Lesimple, with Patrice Kerdudo on camera) is the Equipe Espoirs, the sports team, in the French national support system.

The B-Team is also supported by the Flyzone wind tunnel and posted their first impressive indoor scores at the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2014. Then they followed up with a Top 10 finish at the World Challenge 2014.

The team's first outdoor scores this year were also impressive and won the 3rd place on the overall AAA Class leaderboard, right behind the two French national teams in 4-way Open and 4-way Women.

Last year's French B-Team, Nemesis Espoir Saumur, had posted 16.5 and 16.7 averages at the Coupe de France meets, while the new lineup mastered last weekend's two challenging opening rounds with 16- and 18-pointers.

The French B-Teams have always been a very realistic launching pad for a future career in the French national teams, and naturally for medals at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving. Anais Maillet trained and competed in last year's B-Team and was then selected as the first French female competitor for the French national 8-way team, Venturi Maubeuge.

Her Nemesis Espoir Saumur team mate Damien Gouriou is now training and competing with Volt'R Maubeuge, the French national 4-way team in the Open Class. Pamela Lissajoux, Clementine LeBohec and videographer Patrice Kerdudo are back this year for Artemis Saumur Flyzone, and they have two new team mates: Aurelien Lemaire and Eliott Lesimple. It seems like national coach Jeremie Rollett tries to keep male and female competitors evenly trained and prepared in the same lineup for any upcoming opportunities and open slots.
