Did You Know...

... that Team Zeus will be back on December 30 to add more ICL points to the Florida account?

Quick and strong response from Sportsflight Skydive Arena in Prague
posted Dec 21st, 2013 - The leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League was just updated a few days ago, and the Sun Path Products NSL News posted the first December scores and videos with the story on 19 December 2013. Florida had launched the December competition with a total of 119 points at iFLY Orlando.

It took only two days until Jan Klapka's teams and competitors of the Czech Republic Skydiving League answered the Florida opening with 130 points at the Sportsflight Skydive Arena in Prague. The same story mentioned that Florida has to win the December competition to have a chance of the overall ICL 2013 title.

The Florida group is under pressure now and has to add at least 12 points to the total on the next flying session at iFLY Orlando on December 30th. The total of 131 points would win back the top position and still doesn't guarantee the 1st place. The Northwest Skydiving League group at iFLY Seattle may have the last word.

Rookie A Class lineup: SDA Chicks
The Czech Republic was once again represented mostly by complete teams at the Skydive Arena. Five of the six lineups have competed at indoor and outdoor meets this year. Only the SDA Chicks (Center Inside Eva Rozkovcova, Center Outside Eva Vokurkova, Point Jitka Vycpalkova, Tail Zaneta Vojtakova) were a pickup team.

Bad Boyz (AAA), Soft4way (AA), Best of Relative (Rookie AAA) and Sky Vengeance (A and Rookie AA) combined for five of the six categories. The SDA Chicks then topped off the Czech total with a 32-pointer in the Rookie A Class. The total of 130 points is the third highest result of the ICL 2013 season.

Soft4way attended four indoor meets in the A Class at the beginning of the Czech indoor year and moved up into the AA Class in November. Best of Relative has competed in the A Class at seven indoor and outdoor meets, together with Sky Vengeance.

Back on December 30th: Team Zeus
The Czech Sportsflight group outscored Florida with the two impressive scores in the AAA and the Rookie A Class. In fact, Florida at i FLY Orlando had the stronger lineups in four of the six categories and was up by 12 points, before the Bad Boyz and SDA Chicks brought the Czech Republic back up to the top position.

The Bad Boyz posted an excellent 24-pointer for the slot switching sequence in the AAA Class and continue to perform on a significantly higher scoring and performance level compared to the past years. Florida had only two experienced AAA Class competitors in the lineup this time, while Block 17 was even completely new to one of the AAA Class flyers.

The complete Zeus lineup from Skydive City represented Florida in the Rookie A Class without any player coaches and posted a team record score of 16 points after two point deductions. It was not enough to keep up with the SDA Chicks, however, Zeus will be back on December 30, prepared to score even higher and add several points to the Florida account...
