Did You Know...

... that 22 teams are registered for the ISR Grand Prix 2013 three months before the event?

International participation at the ISR Grand Prix 2012
posted Aug 24th, 2013 - The UK Nationals 2013 started out with bad weather, and even the first round could not be completed on Saturday. The UK teams may have to come back next weekend to complete the meet. The team names on the top of the four different leaderboards are familiar ones, and the re-match battle between Bodyflight Isis and Kaizen lives up to the expectations. Kaizen won Round 1 by a point.

In the meantime, the preparations for this year's ISR Grand Prix indoor competition in Roosendaal have begun. 22 teams are registered three months before the November event, and a new record number for participation would be no surprise. 48 teams competed in Roosendaal last year.

The registration fee for the event is still discounted to 300 Euro per team until September 23rd. It goes up to 350 Euro after that date.

Registered Teams
AAA Class: Thunder (NL/BE), NRG (NL), Airfix International (IT/DE)
AA Class: Potes en Ciel (BE), Turrrbooow (NL), MACH4 (NL), Murphy Mania (NL)
A Class: Gravity Abuse (NL), Olraait (BE), Shinobi (NL), Dimension (NL), The Wuzzles (NL), Fast Forward (BE), Bad Habits (NL), Cosmic Noise (BE), Pioschop Reloaded (NL), Escort Fly (IT), Newton's Maniacs (BE), Jetmax (BE), Paradocks (NL)
Rookie Class: Lightning (NL), Winging It (NL)
Back to defend the 2012 title: Thunder
Thunder won the 2012 event with a 25.5 average and will be back to defend the indoor title. Thunder's international lineup did not compete at the World Cup this year after attending the same event in Prostejov 2012. Thunder had a long break after the Tomscat Trophy 2013 and will post the next scores at the ESL Championship 2013 in September.

Several Dutch teams who attended the Tomscat Trophy 2013 will come back for the indoor competition in Roosendaal, as the current list of registered teams is showing. Many of the teams who attended last year's Grand Prix will also be back for the fun event. Most of the registered teams are from Belgium and the Netherlands so far, however, there were several visiting teams from other countries last year who are expected to sign up again.

73 teams are competing in traditional 4way at Hibaldstow this weekend, which is also a new record number for the United Kingdom. 72 teams attended the event last year. New scores will hopefully be posted tomorrow morning.
