posted Jun 20th, 2013 - The NSL Sun Path News reported on 5 June 2013 that the Florida Skydiving League posted their first Indoor Cloud League scores for the month of June at iFLY Orlando. The total of 113 points for the six indoor categories matched the Florida scores for the month of May, however, it was not enough to win last month's competition. The Northwest Skydiving League outscored Florida by eight points at iFLY Seattle.

FSL indoor head coach Ari Perelman decided to invite the FSL competitors to a follow up meet on Tuesday this week and recruited four lineups to take on five of the six sequences. His group improved the total score by eight points and has now matched the 121 points that the Northwest group posted last month.

The total score after Tuesday evening could have been significantly higher, as all four lineups scored higher than they did earlier this month. However, some of the scores do not count for the Indoor Cloud League, as the rules allow participants to score 20 points or higher only two times before they have to move up into the next category.

The earlier NSL Sun Path News story explained that three FSL competitors (Mikaela Fernandez, Steve Hubbard, Robert Harris) were in this situation after the May competition. Mikaela Fernandez was in the Rookie A Class lineup, together with Erica Gorski, Florida's 4way shooting star, who is also a member of the Rookie Class team FournicatorZ.

The Rookie A Class lineup finished the Tuesday evening session with a 27-pointer, which will not make it onto the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard. Erica Gorski is still eligible for any of the six categories, while Mikaela Fernandez can only score for Florida in the Rookie AAA Class or higher.

Erica Gorski's FournicatorZ team mate David Evans ended up in the Rookie AAA Class lineup with Robert Harris who also had to move up after the May competition. Michael Hare was the 3rd team member, and Ari Perelman was the player coach. It was a very successful combination, as this lineup improved the Rookie AAA Class score for Florida from 23 to 31 points.

The other three lineups could not contribute to the Florida total score for different reasons. The AA Class lineup (Drew Zastrow, Yvonne Saa, Ari Perelman, Kurt Gaebel - 18 points) had two player coaches where only one is allowed in this category.

Rookie Class team Pyro4ic came to the indoor session with the complete lineup after competing at the FSL June meet last weekend. They scored a great 22-pointer after a point deduction and without the help of a player coach, which was once again short of making it to the leaderboard where Florida has posted a 25-pointer. Ari Perelman may ask the FSL competitors one more time to come back to iFLY Orlando, as the scores in three categories (AA - A - Rookie A) still seem to be vulnerable...
