posted Jun 14th, 2005 - The NSL News story of June 13 came along with the new videos of the Florida Skydiving League's April meet on NSL-TV. The meet videos of the Southwest Skydiving League competition on the same weekend have now been added.

The FSL story mentioned that the sequence of round five in April was identical for AAA and AA Class teams (F-20-9). It was also identical with round three of the competition draw for the March 19 weekend. This unique situation allows to compare directly between the leagues, the two competition classes and the dates.

Southwest Skydiving League AAA Class team Perris Storm attended both meets and increased the score from 13 points in March to 15 points in April. Storm has increased the team's scoring level meet by meet and finished the last SSL meet in May with a 13.5 average. Both the March and April jumps can now be viewed on NSL-TV.

Perris Helion was the second AAA Class team that attended both meets with the same sequence. Helion lost quite a few points due to infringements at the April meet and ended up with a lower score than in March (10 - 8).

AA Class team Arizona Divewerkz competed only at the SSL April meet in Eloy. The team's score of 14 points would have taken the second place in the SSL's AAA Class competition in March. A total of 11 teams competed in the AAA Class competition in April. AA Class team Arizona Divewerkz would have taken the 6th position in the higher class of the April meet. The next AA Class team in April scored eight points. Also, the 14 Divewerkz points in April would have been higher than the scores of six AAA Class teams in March when a total of 21 teams competed in this class in the Southwest, Florida and Georgia. The April meet with a 12.2 meet average was the highlight for Arizona Divewerkz in the 2004 season so far.

The highest scores of all AAA and AA Class teams for the same sequence in March and April were posted by Italy's Sinapsi PD at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005 in March (25) and Airspeed Velocity in April (25), followed by DeLand Fire (24 in March), the Golden Knights (23 in March), DeLand Majik, Fastrax, Belgium Spa Hayabusa (22 in March) and Airspeed Odyssey (22 in April). That's enough for now with comparing between leagues, competition classes and dates, and such a unique situation may also never occur again.

The Arizona Desert Dogs posted the highest April score in round five of the A Class. The higher scores came at the right time at this meet for the Desert Dogs and were rewarded with the first place after handicap in the NSL SkyVenture Competition.
