posted Feb 28th, 2013 - The NSL News reported the results of the Aerokart Indoor Championship 2013 with the stories on 23 February 2013 and 24 February 2013. The focus was mainly on the four top teams of the French indoor leaderboard.

The first story covered the new duel between the French 8way experts of Gavroches Maubeuge who have been fending off Thunder in 4way competition at several indoor meets. The same story also brought back the Aerokart Deep Blue female world champions of 2010 to the attention of the audience.

The second story followed up with the final scores after Round 10 and an update of the new French national team in the female 4way category, Aerodyne Feminin, who also competed at the same event and for the first time with the new lineup.

Aerokart has posted meet videos in the meantime, and the NSL News is able to present the two most interesting parts of the indoor competition in Paris. The first two videos feature the 10-round battle between Gavroches Maubeuge and Thunder, which ended once again to the advantage of the French team.

The second video shows the original Aerokart Deep Blue lineup in action and presents the new French national team at the same time and with the same competition sequences.

Gavroches Maubeuge and Thunder will continue with their ongoing internal battle soon at the World Challenge 2013, while only Deep Blue will compete for France in Bedford. The young national team, with all four team members in the 20s (24 - 26 - 26 - 28) saves all resources for training to be well prepared at the World Cup 2013 in Bosnia.

Recent French gold medal history at Aerokart

The two videos of the French female world class competitors are also an interesting review of the recent French history in this event. Sophie Deremaux, Berangere Duplouy, Francoise Simons-Hamouchi and Amelie Tirman won the gold medals at the World Meet 2010 in Menzelinsk.

Amelie Tirman then continued with the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders and Aerodyne Feminin members Laurence Herve and Perrine Sanchez in 2011. Sophie Deremaux came back when Laurence Herve got injured and could not compete at the Mondial Dubai 2012.

Perrine Sanchez, Sophie Deremaux and Amelie Tirman defended the French gold medals in this category successfully, and Perrine Sanchez is now back with the new lineup. Laurence Herve has recovered well and attended her first competition after the injury. Perrine Sanchez is now responsible to defend the French gold medals again in 2014, and the new team had a great start into the 2-year period. Aerokart Deep Blue was still clearly ahead in the female duel, however, the new lineup wants to change this as quickly as possible...
