posted Jan 18th, 2013 - The NSL News reported on 11 January 2013 that SDC Rhythm XP's new lineup was complete. Christy Frikken is the new Center Inside, Mikhail Markine has taken the Tail slot.

JaNette (Center Outside) and Steve (Point) Lefkowitz continue in the front piece, Alex Bittner is on camera.

The story included some details on how Rhythm and Christy Frikken's former team Perris Fury ran along and connected with each other for a few years.

Two videos also featured the Rhythm tryouts for the 2012 season, where Chris Farina was eventually selected as the new Center Inside, and Mikhail Markine with his former team Vibe.

The NSL News is now focusing in even more on the new team members, first on Christy Frikken and then on Mikhail Markine. The new videos show Christy Frikken in Center Outside action with Perris Fury at the USPA Nationals 2010 and at the World Challenge 2010. Josh Hall was the Fury Point by then, Chris Farina Center Inside, and Uli Steuwe was in the Tail slot.

Christy Frikken and Chris Farina are both featured in the NSL Profiles, and Christy Frikken made it there actually earlier than Chris Farina, who was added after he had joined SDC Rhythm XP. Christy Frikken was featured when she had earned a celebrity status as the Skydiver of the Year in 2007, Skydiving Magazine's annual award for great achievements in the sport.

Mike Truffer, editor of the Skydiving Magazine, followed the suggestions by his audience three years before Christy Frikken arrived on her peak performance level with Perris Fury in 2010.

Her team was just breaking the 20-average level at that time. However, her achievements were also to be found in other areas, as Mike Truffer put it for Skydiving Magazine:

"Christy Frikken is this magazine's 2007 Skydiver of the Year because she climbed to the upper strata of competitive skydiving while taking a whole bunch of her fellow jumpers with her." Many of the other "fellow jumpers" had joined the Perris Fury team project where she and her team mates guided beginner skydivers into Formation Skydiving competition.

The profile story surely needs an update, as it misses her best and most successful three years in 4way Formation Skydiving competition.

However, the NSL News audience could still follow her, as more and more updates covered the progression of Perris Fury until the peak season in 2010. From then on, Christy Frikken still made the NSL News many times with other projects.

The new NSL-TV videos include the incredible 66-pointer in Round 2 of the World Challenge 2010, which is still standing as the highest score for a 4way sequence in history.

Even NMP-PCH Hayabusa's indoor experts could not beat this score when another Super Sequence was a part of the World Challenge 2011.

SDC Rhythm XP will very soon introduce the new lineup in a competitive environment. Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2013 and Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2013 are both on the team agenda, followed by the World Challenge 2013. Christy Frikken will miss the first indoor event in Raeford before she shows her Center Inside work with Rhythm in March in DeLand for the first time.
