Did You Know...

... that there were several more AAA Stars in Florida?

posted Jun 6th, 2005 - The first part of the April 16 NSL-TV was posted with the NSL News on June 4th. The videos came from the Southwest Skydiving League event at Skydive Arizona in Eloy and included round four of Airspeed Odyssey and Velocity.

The new meet videos of the Florida Skydiving League meet in Lake Wales on the same weekend complete the coverage of round four. More 540 degree turns can be viewed in the AAA and AA Class, and more Stars at the end of the sequence in the AAA Class only.

Norway Arcteryx' round four - see video
The Norwegian national 4-way team Arcteryx dominated the AAA Class competition in Lake Wales and, once again, kept also in touch with Airspeed Odyssey. In fact, the scores were tied between these two teams in round four. The Norwegian team looked quite different in Lake Wales in April compared to the cautious performance at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005 in March.

It was the team's goal to pick up the pace and put some higher scores on the board to gain confidence and speed. The fast competition draw in April contributed to this goal by coincidence. It is worth comparing the Acteryx March and April performances directly. Round eight of the Shamrock Showdown is currently featured on NSL-TV, as well, and it includes the Norwegian jump. The next round of the Shamrock Showdown will be next on NSL-TV.
