News Article Did you know that USPA competitors posted ICL August scores before traveling to Illinois?
posted: Sep 15th, 2018 The Indoor Cloud League events continued in August, even though the outdoor events with several national championships received naturally most of the NSL News attention during the busy summer season. The September competition on the 12+ leaderboard had in fact the second closest outcome this year, as the two teams in Northern California (iFLY SF Bay, iFLY Sacramento) and the Florida team in Orlando were separated by only five points (113 - 112 - 108). Only the April competition (111 - 111 - 109) had generated an even tighter result between the same three teams. It was also only the third... (more)
News Article Did you know that iFLY Sacramento extended the lead on the ICL 12+ leaderboard?
posted: Aug 14th, 2018 Bad weather was in the way off a successful Dallas Super Cup this year, and the worst wild fires in history in Northern California are a major obstacle for outdoor training and competition, as well. Teams in Northern Calfornia have at least the opportunity to compensate for the lack of outdoor training and competition with the monthly Indoor Cloud League and Tunnel Kicker activities. August is also a month with the next World Tunnel League meet, and the most recent scores will be posted soon. The series of extremely tight ICL competition between iFLY Sacramento and iFLY SF Bay on the 12+... (more)
News Article Did you know that iFLY SF Bay and iFLY Sacramento had their next 1-point battle in June?
posted: Jul 5th, 2018 Previous Indoor Cloud League updates have mentioned the extremely tight competition on the 12+ leaderboard between the two teams of the Northern California Skydiving League, iFLY Sacramento and iFLY SF Bay. The ICL 2018 season began for both teams with a 1-point thriller to the advantage of iFLY SF Bay (102 - 101) in January. The recent and ongoing battle heated up again in April when iFLY Sacramento won by two points (111 - 109) and the NSL News picked up the topic on May 4th. The May competition turned out to be even tighter, as both teams finished with the same total (110 - 110) for the... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Florida Skydiving League has posted scores on the Indoor Cloud League 12+ and 14+ leaderboards?
posted: Jun 26th, 2018 The 12+ flying chamber at the new iFLY Orlando facilities was drawing a larger group of Florida Skydiving League competitors to the Indoor Cloud League competition at June's FSL Tunnel Kicker than the same event at iFLY Tampa a week later. It was nothing unusual that the events at iFLY Orlando were well attended when the Orlando tunnel was the only one in Florida. This changed when iFLY Tampa launched their operation of the 14+ flying chamber, and there was even a longer break until iFLY Orlando came back on the 12+ leaderboard of the Indoor Cloud League. Seven different lineups competed... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Indoor Cloud League 12+ leaderboard features the next tie for May?
posted: Jun 8th, 2018 It is no news that the results on both leaderboards of the Indoor Cloud League have become closer and closer month by month. However, the 12+ leaderboard has recently been featuring something that resembles a normal 10-round competition between a few teams on the same performance level. It began actually already in January when the two teams of the Northern California Skydiving League, one at iFLY SF Bay and the other one at iFLY Sacramento, were separated by only one single point (102 - 101). The Florida Skydiving League team at iFLY Orlando joined the race in February after a slower start... (more)
News Article Did you know that Harpia has the AAA Class lead on May's ICL 12+ leaderboard?
posted: May 21st, 2018 The Indoor Cloud League competition of May began with a AAA Class duel on the 12+ leaderboard. The Florida Skydiving League team posted a complete set of scores and videos after the FSL Tunnel Kicker in Orlando at the beginning of the month, which included the AAA Class sequence. The lineup that posted the 10-pointer consisted of two competitors who took on a AAA Class sequence with a slot-switching block for the first time (Suzette Hechst, Kanishka Perera), Amer Kassas who moved up into the AAA Class world at the end of the 2017 season, and Bob Byrne with comprehensive AAA Class experience. The... (more)
