Did You Know...

... that iFLY Houston had Indoor Cloud League support from iFLY Dallas?

Support from iFLY Dallas: Scott Latinis at an earlier Indoor Cloud League event at iFLY Houston
posted Apr 19th, 2016 - The Indoor Cloud League competition in April began with the first score for the AA Class sequence from Florida, performed by Z-Hills PreciZion. Two additional Rookie Class scores lifted the current iFLY Orlando total for the month of April to 50.

iFLY Houston now followed up with a total of 138 points, which is the highest result for the new Indoor Cloud League team since joining at the beginning of the year.

138 points is also on the high side in the history of the Indoor Cloud League, and the progression is not really such a great surprise. The iFLY Houston team is guided by Spaceland Lite members Katrina and Devon Shows who are both very experienced 4-way competitors and know how to help increase the performance level of 4-way competitors.

In fact, Spaceland Lite just completed their own first training camp of the year with coach Thomas Hughes at Skydive Arizona. The team completed 36 training jumps and spent additional 90 minutes in SkyVenture Arizona's 14-foot flying chamber.

The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on March 30th that Spaceland Lite has a new lineup for the 2016 season, which has now also jumped from a Twin Otter after previous indoor training and competition.

The iFLY Houston team that posted the new April scores was supported once again by a member of one of Spaceland Lite's regional opponents in 4-way competition. Scott Latinis trains and competes with Dallas 350, and he also helps his new team mate Amanda Lampton at the ICL events at iFLY Dallas. Last week he scored for iFLY Houston though.

Scott Latinis was player coaching the Rookie Class lineup with his wife Christine performing at an ICL event for the first time. Together they posted the highscores for the R and RR Class sequences.

He was also filling a slot for 4 Shades of Grey, as team member Billy Whitaker was not available, and added the 19-pointer for the A Class sequence to iFLY Houston’s April account.

Spaceland Lite members Katrina and Devon Shows did not join forces with Dallas 350's Scott Latinis to perform the AAA/AA Class sequences. Janus Hyder and Jorge Alvarez were in the iFLY Houston lineup for the two AAA/AA/Open Class sequences, and Scott Latinis could save his energy for the iFLY Dallas group and his own team...
