posted Apr 5th, 2016 - The discussion of the female 4-way category began when the competition was completed. Satori XL's Julia Swallow and SDC Rhythm XP's JaNette Lefkowitz participated in the podium discussion after completing their own ten rounds in the Open Class at the World Challenge 2016.

The category in question had five teams on the leaderboard, while the strongest one, the French FLY-IN Girls, competed in the Open Class. They disregarded the opportunity to finish in 1st place in 4-way Women and took the 2nd place on the other leaderboard instead, with an average that was significantly higher (28.6 - 23.2) than the winner's in 4-way Women.

However, the competition in 4-way Women was exciting and a real battle between Volition and Parachute Montreal Fuzion. The British ladies needed a few rounds to find their rhythm and lost three points in the first two rounds, where Fuzion had a very clean start with a 9-point lead after Round 3.

The highly experienced Volition members were not too impressed with the situation after Round 3 and fought back to win by two points after the ten rounds in Bedford.

NFTO was not really a factor in the qualification for the status as the British national indoor team this year. NFTO will compete for the United Kingdom

at the Mondial 2016, and Volition travels to Poland for the FAI Indoor World Cup at Flyspot.

The results in 4-way Women provided additional and interesting information in this category. French FLY-IN Girls and Golden Knights will surely battle for the gold medals this year. After the World Challenge 2016, the Canadian team has taken a very strong position in the race for the last set of Mondial medals. Fuzion was far ahead of NFTO, and Canada has a new and very strong contender for world meet medals this year.
