Did You Know...

... that iFLY Orlando stole a highscore from SkyVenture Montreal last Thursday?

Canadian Rookies: GOChix
posted Jun 23rd, 2015 - Florida's Indoor Cloud League team came back to iFLY Orlando last Thursday for the next attempt to improve the scores that the first team had posted on June 6th.

It was a successful effort, as last Thursday's team added a total of 19 points to iFLY Orlando's ICL account. The RR Class lineup (Amer Kassas, Mark Messersmith, Leslie Eggenberger, with player coach Bob Byrne) even managed to outscore SkyVenture Montreal's lineup in the same category and take the highscore.

SkyVenture Montreal had posted scores for four of the six categories in the meantime and is currently three points ahead of iFLY Orlando before the AAA and AA Class scores. The same lineup also improved iFLY Orlando's R Class score from 9 to 18 points, which was not enough to outscore the same Canadian team, GOChix. iFLY Orlando won this internal Rookie Class (RR - R) duel by one point (39 - 38).

Florida Rookie Class lineup
DeLand Flashpoint did not have Tail Jairo Garcia available last Thursday. Alix Raymond, Steve Hubbard and Jim Prochaska "borrowed" DeLand Momentum member James Hall, who was also performing the AAA and AA Class sequences with Hal Spence, Sebastia Jimenez and Kurt Gaebel in his Tail slot.

James Hall was more successful with Flashpoint who improved their own 16-pointer by two points. The AAA/AA Class lineup was not able to score higher than at the previous Indoor Cloud League event at iFLY Orlando earlier this month, and they were not eligible to post the 24-pointer for the A Class sequence.

The same counts for the modified Flashpoint lineup, who used the RRR Class sequence for a warmup session and scored 36 points in working time.

Rookie Class lineup without player coach
Three lineups performed the three Rookie Class sequences. The two ZEUS members (Amer Kassas, Mark Messersmith) had coach Bob Byrne by their side, and former DeLand Aurai member Leslie Eggenberger was eager to fly with the big boys from Skydive City.

The second Rookie Class team included another former Aurai member, Cathy Luo. She had three new Indoor Cloud League competitors in her lineup: Nathalie Bernal, Milton Pachon and Steve Rand.

Last not least, four more Rookie Class competitors had their own lineup. Bob Palatka, Michael Rendon, Nicolas Davis and Ben Hill performed for the first time without any player coach in their lineup. They had worked on their individual skills earlier the same night and then came together for their own 4-way lineup when it was time for the Indoor Cloud League sequences.
