NSL News Coverage of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2024

Did You Know...

... that the Chuteless Devils are getting ready for the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard?

Air Devils at the Canadian Indoor Championship 2015
posted May 21st, 2015 - Canada has a history of family teams, and the Sun Path Products NSL News has covered the Lemay family (Evolution) and the Bisson family (4Astrophe) on a regular basis in the past years. This week's story of the French Aerokart Ak'demie team project for kids connected fathers and sons in a special 4-way, as well.

It's time to go back to Canada now, where the same topic continues. In fact, the 3rd Canadian Indoor Skydiving Championship 2015 also included two teams with kids and teenagers who competed in the A Class.

Air Devils (Daniel Brown, Malachai DeAth, Hope Hadfield, Tyler Stark) and Scared Chuteless (Donovan Fenton, Morgan Fenton, Ethan Kinnear, Canaan Meister) mastered random formations and four of the eight A Class blocks at the indoor competition at iFLY Toronto.

Scared Chuteless at the Candian Indoor Championship 2015
At least four of the eight young 4-way competitors have continued after their first indoor competition in March. Katie Woods, 4-way bronze medalist with Evolution at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014, took them under her wings for more 4-way training and competition.

Two members of each team, Ethan Kinnear and Morgan Fenton of Scared Chuteless and Air Devils Hope Hadfield and Malachi DeAth recently joined forces to take on some of the April sequences of the Indoor Cloud League competition.

Katie Woods said that this young new lineup came together for a training camp late in April and then again earlier this month. She said that they will form a team and train on a regular basis.

Chuteless Devils in training
The Chuteless Devils (Ethan Kinnear, Morgan Fenton, Hope Hadfield, Malachi DeAth) will help SkyVenture Montreal's ICL group to provide complete sets of scores and videos every month, and it will make the group even stronger. SkyVenture Montreal would have taken the 2nd place in April if scores and videos had been submitted timely.

The first videos of the new team are showing that they were still flying in student suits. Katie Woods said that Morgan Fenton had a bootie suit on for the first time at the last camp, donated by Franket suits, and that they are all going to be getting proper 4-way suits soon.

The submission of the videos was too late for the April leaderboard. However, SkyVenture Montreal, with the Bisson family and the new junior team, will soon be back charging for the top of the ICL leaderboard...
