... that John Kretzschmer was the biggest Indoor Cloud League scorer for iFLY Orlando last Thursday?

No help for Florida in March: Golden Knights in DeLand
posted Mar 16th, 2015 - Florida's Indoor Cloud League group did not get any help from the Golden Knights or any other top team at iFLY Orlando this month.

There were more than enough 4-way top competitors nearby for the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015, including the Golden Knights, and the weather situation on Friday and Saturday would have offered enough opportunities for a quick trip to Orlando.

However, the US top teams and the visitors from other countries were focused on the outdoor competition and had no interest in supporting the Florida Indoor Cloud League group.

The FSL indoor flyers had to help themselves and launched the March competition with a total of 111 points.

iFLY Orlando's ICL lineups last Thursday still connected with both of the recent Paraclete events. James Hall and Kurt Gaebel had competed with Team Kaputt (Brian Johnson, Yvonne Saa) at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2015 where they won the AA/Intermediate Class competition with an 18.0 average. They were back in the AAA/AA Class lineup for the Indoor Cloud League event at iFLY Orlando.

Gilles Dutrisac and John Kretzschmer completed the AAA/AA Class lineup. John Kretzschmer, former Cosmic Debris USPA Intermediate Class gold medalist, was visiting from Minnesota to compete with Teiwaz at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015.

He added a few days of skydiving vacation at Skydive DeLand and was still in town when Florida's Indoor Cloud League group met at iFLY Orlando.

He contributed to the 31 points for the AAA and AA Class sequences and collected additional 43 points with his Rookie Class lineup (Bob Palatka, Shanise Dietels, Michael Patterson).

Gilles Dutrisac is DeLand Flashpoint's coach and videographer and was planning to film his team at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015. He could not continue filming after Round 1 and had to stay on the ground.

However, his team completed the six outdoor meet rounds in the AA Class and added the missing four rounds later in training.

It was the first 4-way competition for the complete Flashpoint lineup.

DeLand Flashpoint was back at iFLY Orlando four days later and added the 24-pointer for the RRR Class sequence (K,P,N) to the iFLY Orlando account. Coach Gilles Dutrisac scored in the AAA/AA Class lineup and added 13 points with his A Class lineup (Sebastian Jimenez, James Hall, Alison Bawden).

Florida's Indoor Cloud League group goes back to iFLY Orlando on March 26th.
