posted Dec 3rd, 2014 - The 8-way and VFS 4-way teams are back in action on Wednesday at the 5th Dubai International Parachuting Championship, while the weather conditions are now supporting the start of Canopy Piloting, as well.

The 8-way competition is on a significantly higher level compared to the 4th DIPC 2014. France is still in the lead but has to watch out for the two contenders in 2nd place. The Sun Path Products NSL News met French 8-way world champion Thomas Perrin Gachadoat when he came back from Round 6, and he was fully aware of the situation behind the 1st place.

Dubai Asaar's 8-way team posted the sole highscore for Round 5 and followed up with another 1-point advantage over Russia in Round 6. Both teams are now tied in 2nd place, and France cannot slow down while the two other teams keep pushing each other. The 8-way teams are scheduled to complete Round 9 today.

Day off at the DZ: Christine Malnis and Sophia Pecout
The NSL Reality TV camera visited Dubai Asaar's headquarters at Tent City this morning. The video clip is showing that the team tents are more than what is the usual standard at the international events.

NMP-PCH Hayabusa member Dennis Praet was vacationing at the drop zone, and the main reason is the lunch buffet. Many teams and competitors who have a day off go back to the DZ for the same reason, as the Dubai lunch is a unique feast.

Dennis Praet also provided some insights of the French national team in 4-way Women. His girl friend Clementine Le Bohec is following the event action from home, as she has to take care of some school obligations while her new team mates run away from the field and earn $15,000. NSL-TV has also added the daily video update by the host for additional entertainment.
