... that Eliana Rodriguez introduced two new members of her Dubai talent factory?

NMP-PCH Hayabusa landing from successful recovery in Round 6
posted Dec 1st, 2014 - Yesterday's last update from the 5th Dubai International Parachuting Championship was a feature story of the 4-way world champions NMP-PCH Hayabusa with the new lineup.

The footage of the video clip was collected when the team was preparing for Round 5. It turned out that the following competition jump was the worst of the meet so far for Hayabusa, and the 19-pointer threw the world champions nine points behind Evolution.

Technical issues, brainlocks and lack of training for B-slots were the reasons for the meltdown. However, coach Gary Smith said that new Hayabusa member Jeroen "Bob" Nollet had little to do with the outcome of Round 5, and the team promised the Sun Path Products NSL News to still allow up close and personal video shooting in the future...

Gary Smith said that Round 6 will be a good test for the new lineup how to deal with such a situation and recover from a bad jump. NMP-PCH Hayabusa passed the test with great results, tied the Canadian leader with the highscore for the next round and caught up with SDC Rhythm XP.

There is another Open Class battle going on right behind the three medal and cash positions. The new Black Cat lineup, with young 4-way competitor Valeriy Gredasov and three Russian world class competitors (Evgeny Stashchenko, Vassili Korotkov, Valentin Ilin, with Vadim Niyazov on camera), is trying to hold off the Qatar Tigers and Dubai Asaar Black who push each other upwards.

Those three teams tied their scores exactly in the last two rounds, and Black Cat has to defend a 5-point lead in the remaining four rounds.

Eliana Rodriguez and Craig Girard with their newest members Ahmad Abdulla Hashim and Sulaimon Almerri
The Sun Path Products NSL News met with Eliana Rodriguez and two of the newest members of the Dubai delegation and her talent factory while Asaar Black was competing on Sunday.

She said that she is currently preparing Ahmad Abdulla Hashim and Sulaimon Almerri for their debut in the team lineups some time soon. Both new 4-way competitors are very young and eager to do what their fellow Asaar members are doing in 4-way and 8-way. They introduced themselves and provided some profile information during the NSL Talk.

The Sun Path Products NSL News had met new member Ahmed Sharif earlier on NSL-TV in Dubai, who is currently alternate for the 8-way team. One of the latest new members, Ahmed Alabdooli, had joined the 8-way team with the new lineup last year at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship. Dubai Asaar's 8-way team is currently four points behind the leader from France.
