Did You Know...

... that Jan Klapka is under a lot of special pressure?

Florida's Rookie AAA Class lineup at iFLY Orlando
posted Nov 7th, 2014 - It's time again to wrap up the Indoor Cloud League October competition with the highscores of the month.

The leaderboard is not completely filled with scoring numbers, which happened only once so far in August this year. The four missing scores are the only reason why October was not a record month.

The 42 lineups in August had combined for a total of 718 points, and the 38 teams last month had 713 points on the leaderboard. It was close.

The Hurricane Factory in Prague generated four of the highscores (AAA - AA - A - Rookie A) in the six categories and still ended up in 2nd place, two points behind iFLY Orlando.

The Florida group only tied one highscore in the Rookie AAA Class with SkyVenture Montreal and made up for the lack of winning scores by posting high numbers in all categories. SkyVenture Montreal also won the Rookie AA Class competition.

From Rookie to AAA Class: HF Chicks
The teams in the Czech Republic also launched their indoor winter season this week with the first 10-round meet at the Hurricane Factory.

Most of the teams who participated last winter came back, and several A Class teams are now on the AA Class leaderboard.

The Bad Boys and the CZ Ladies, both the Czech national teams in 4-way Open and 4-way Women, now have company in the AAA Class.

The HF Chicks, who won the World Challenge 2014 in the Rookie Class, had moved up into the A Class at the last meet of the previous winter season in April.

The all-female indoor team then began to perform the AAA and AA Class sequences of the Indoor Cloud League month by month and eventually competed in the AAA Class at the Czech Indoor Nationals 2014 in September.

Improved AAA Class meet average: CZ Ladies
The Bad Boys are now facing the same challenge at the monthly meets that the national team has seen when performing for the Hurricane Factory at the Indoor Cloud League. The HF Chicks are getting closer.

In fact, the HF Chicks repeated yesterday what they did in September by outscoring the national team and their coach Vaclav Prokes in one round and tying another one.

However, both teams were not able to increase their meet averages due to a slow competition draw (21 blocks - 11 random formations).

Only the CZ Ladies, with Bad Boys founder's wife Jirina Klapkova in the lineup, scored higher than ever before in the AAA Class and beat their September results by a point.

Jan Klapka's son Jakub Klapka also helped to improve his team's (Kamikadze) average in the Rookie Class. Jan Klapka is under a lot of pressure...
