Did You Know...

... that the Indoor Cloud League AAA Class sequence for November has no slot switcher?

NWSL October group at iFLY Seattle
posted Nov 1st, 2014 - The AAA Class teams and competitors of the Indoor Cloud League can relax, as the new sequence for the month of November (P,21,D,15) has memory work neither for the front nor for the rear piece.

The October leaderboard is almost complete and may bring the highest total number of combined points by all seven groups in ICL history, as soon as the missing scores and videos from SkyVenture New Hampshire will be added.

iFLY SF Bay (Northern California Skydiving League) and iFLY Seattle (Northwest Skydiving League) submitted the latest results, after the Czech Hurricane Factory in Prague came dangerously close to the current leader, iFLY Orlando, when the Bad Boys and the CZ Ladies sent new videos with higher results.

Three visits to iFLY Seattle in October: Bill Selig (right)
Deb Correia reported from iFLY Seattle that her group met for several ICL events last month. The first one on October 14th had coaches David Zhang and Jeff Smith each coaching a Rookie Class team, including Randy Barbee, Mike Armanios, Bill Selig, Kurt Ferstl, Mohamad Abou-Gindia and Isaac Bahr.

Unfortunately, the video system was not working, and no scores were generated at this event. Deb Correia said that it still served well as a great warm-up event. The same teams came back the following week, this time with Samantha Oldfield taking Bill Selig's place:

"Even though the rules allow for two coaches at this level, we chose to fly with only one to accommodate more people, and it worked out very well."

AAA Class lineup in October: Steve Platt, David Zhang, Andrey Ulanov, Bill Selig
Two more teams also flew that second night: Deb Correia with with Jay Alspach, Kelli Alspach, Daisy Thompson, and coach David Zhang with Andrey Ulanov, Steve Platt, Bill Selig, his second lineup for the night. Bill Selig eventually came back a third time in October, now with Monica Aikins, D'Arcy Kaaua and coach Deb Correia.

iFLY Seattle did not turn in a video for the AAA Class sequence in September. Deb Correia made sure in October that her coaching staff would push people to fly at a higher level and have scores in all six categories. Steve Platt, Bill Selig, Andrey Ulanov and coach David Zhang scored the 12-pointer for iFLY Seattle in the AAA Class.

Randy Barbee, Mike Armanios and Samantha Oldfield, with coach David Zhang, performed the Rookie A and Rookie AA Class sequences. Kurt Ferstl, Mohamad Abou-Gindia and Isaac Bahr had coach Jeff Smith in the Rookie AAA Class. Jay and Kelli Alspach and Daisy Thompson posted the 18-pointer in the A Class with coach Deb Correia, and the AA Class score came from Monica Aikins, D'Arcy Kaaua and Bill Selig, also with coach Deb Correia.
