Did You Know...

... that Vision 99 has finalized new plans for the 2015 season?

Full Stop XL - Different jobs...?
posted Oct 7th, 2014 - The recent scores at the Bodyflight Revenge provided a review of the British 4-way competition this year, as the Sun Path Products explained on 5 October 2014.

However, there is more behind the results than only a review of the 2014 season. The top of the leaderboard also provides an idea of how exciting the next year will most likely be in the United Kingdom. The UK Nationals 2015 are the qualification event for the World Meet 2016 in the USA, and the stakes will be high.

Four of the Top 5 teams last week in Bedford will be a major factor in the race for the two slots as the national 4-way teams, in 4-way Open and 4-way Women. The AAA Class winner, Full Stop XL, is unlikely to be a part of next year's potentially exciting situation, as some of the team members may have other jobs to do.

Highscore last week: Vision 99's 2015 lineup
Three of the other four teams (Vision 99 - Kaizen - Bodyflight Isis) are close enough to each other by now, even though Kaizen and Isis would be opponents in 4-way Women, while Vision 99 is aiming at the Open Class title and the status as the British national 4-way team.

It would still not be the first time that an all-female lineup competed for a country in the Open Class. The Deep Blue Defenders did exactly that for France at the World Cup 2012, and Torque repeated it for Canada at the 4th Dubai Cup 2013. Kaizen and Isis in the first two places on the British Open Class leaderboard next year would bring this situation into the game.

However, Vision 99 have their own plans, which don't consider the option to end up in 3rd place. Voodoo is actually the UK 4-way champion of 2014 and could be eligible to compete as the British national 4-way team at the world meet in 2016. And then there is Satori...

Voodoo - UK national team in 2016...?
There are rumors that the British national 4-way team at the world meets of 2010 and 2012 is planning for a comeback next year. Full Stop XL and Satori members John McIver and Ian "Milko" Hodgkinson showed last week that Satori could get back quickly to the British top level at any time.

Satori's impressive history and Voodoo's performance level this year still do not impress Vision 99 too much, who collected their first world meet experiences this year and liked the atmosphere and the status as the national 4-way team. Vision 99 plan to earn the Britsh top spot fair and square next year and have finalized their 2015 plans.

Vision 99 will come back with the lineup that competed at the Hibaldstow Cup 2014. The Sun Path Products NSL News had explained the team's personnel situation on 7 August 2014. The same lineup now posted the team's highest indoor average (21.8) last week.

Satori - Comeback next year...?
Peter Mather is the new Center Outside and joins forces for a longer time period with Simon Guest, Mike Hayes and Ady King. The team's record average was a perfect start for the new 2015 lineup.

Vision 99 has made plans for 300 - 400 jumps, plus indoor training. The outdoor schedule will include two training camps overseas, with a new trip to DeLand and the Paraclete XP Indoor and Outdoor Championships. The rest of the outdoor training will take place at the team's home DZ in Dunkeswell.

The World Challenge 2015, World Cup 2015 and the monthly meets of the United Kingdom Skydiving League will get Vision 99 ready for the most important showdown at the UK Nationals 2015, where Voodoo and possibly Satori will have the same goal as Vision 99, while Kaizen and Bodyflight Isis might join the British quest for world class 4-way scores in the coming years.
