... that DeLand Aurai was Florida's biggest scorer last Thursday at iFLY Orlando?

Florida's Indoor Cloud League group at iFLY Orlando
posted Jun 22nd, 2014 - The Northern California Skydiving League group at iFLY SF Bay was the first one posting scores for the six sequences of the Indoor Cloud League competition in June, as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 13 June 2014.

Teams and competitors of the Florida Skydiving League came together at iFLY Orlando last Thursday to follow up with their first scores of the month. Florida had once again a slow start and is currently 18 points behind Northern California.

Northern California has the main advantage in the first two traditional categories (AAA - AA) where Florida could not keep up with the experienced lineups of player coaches from Northern California, and it was not much different in the A Class.

Florida's lineup for the AAA and AA Class sequences (Sebastian Jimenez, James Hall, Jim Prochaska, Hal Spence) is still very new in those categories and just begin to collect their first experiences with slot switchers and memory for both pieces.

The Florida group at iFLY Orlando also had several new Indoor Cloud League competitors in the lineups for the Rookie Class categories, while other participants tested the waters of so far unknown sequences in new and higher categories.

There was also a highly experienced and famous new Indoor Cloud League competitor in two of last week's lineups. Rob Laidlaw, founder and president of Skydive University, came back to his Canadian 4way and 8way competition roots at his first FSL Tunnel Kicker.

DeLand Aurai with substitute Steve Hubbard
DeLand Aurai, one of Florida's new Rookie Class teams, turned out to become the biggest contributor for iFLY Orlando's ICL account. Aurai posted scores in all three Rookie Class categories, as none of the other Rookie Class lineups scored higher.

Aurai had to replace new member Adam Money who was not available Thursday night, and Steve Hubbard took his tail slot. Aurai was able to outscore the Rookie Class lineups from Northern California in two of the three categories.

This weekend, the teams in Florida have to show their outdoor skills at the June meet of the Florida Skydiving League. Aurai will have Adam Money back in the lineup, and Steve Hubbard competes with Hal Spence, Jim Prochaska and Randy Cutlip. The outdoor opponents include the indoor group of the Northwest Skydiving League at iFLY Seattle...
