6 rounds in the Rookie Class: Honey Badgers
The Northern Plains Skydiving League launched its 2013 season with five teams at Skydive Twin Cities.
The weather did not allow the completion of all six planned rounds, except for one team. The Honey Badgers managed to go through all six Rookie Class sequences.
Two of the five teams came back from previous NPSL seasons, while the three new teams included two Rookie Class lineups.
Those Guys showed up for the first time at the last NPSL meet of the 2011 season and then missed only one of the four meets last year.
Fourcast lineup of 2011
Fourcast had missed the complete 2012 season after battling with HTH in the AA Class throughout the whole 2011 season. Fourcast, with Bill Rehm, Jonathan Gleisner, Kris Ruff, John Kretzschmar and Merriah Eakins (camera) in the 2011 lineup, then took the 8th place of 30 teams in the AA/Intermediate Class at the USPA Nationals 2011
Fourcast discontinued and John Kretzschmar joined three HTH members of 2011 (Alissa Olson, Andy Junghans, Greg Heideman) and videographer Nick Halseth in 2012. HTH became Cosmic Debris and won the AA/Intermediate Class gold medals at the USPA Nationals 2012.

USPA Intermediate Class gold medals in 2012: Cosmic Debris
Cosmic Debris did not make any serious plans for the 2013 season, and Fourcast's team captain Bill Rehm joined forces with two Cosmic Debris members. It became a Fourcast re-union with John Kretzschmar and a meet for a weekend with former HTH opponent Alissa Olson. Gina Lanoux complete the Fourcast lineup, Karl Eakins was filming the team.
John Kretzschmar and Alissa Olsen were planning to tackle the AAA Class dive pool as the next step for Cosmic Debris, and last weekend's five rounds offered a great opportunity to get a good idea of the new challenges. Four of the five rounds included four of the six new blocks for them. Each of the first four sequences brought slot switchers either to the front or to the rear piece.
It was a tough start into the AAA Class for the two USPA Intermediate Class champions of 2012, and Round 5 eventually brought some relief with a more familiar sequence...
