posted: Jul 18th, 2015 The history of modern 8-way Formation Skydiving competition has been dominated by the three FS powerhouses. USA, France and Russia have won all medals since 1985, with two exceptions: Canada in 1985 (bronze) and Italy in 2008 (bronze).
Of the three leading 8-way nations, the US teams have won 11 of the 16 sets of gold medals. The Golden Knights have claimed ten of the 11 US world titles and are by far the most successful 8-way team project in history.
The US Army's 8-way team won all gold medals at world meets between 1987 and 1997 after the Coors took the 1st place for the USA in 1985. The... (more)
Did you know that Russia sends a strong delegation to the World Cup in Teuge?
posted: Jul 13th, 2015 The Formation Skydiving delegation from Russia in the three traditional categories (4-way Open, 4-way Women, 8-way Open) at the FAI World Cups consisted of five teams in 2009 and 2011, even though there were different combinations.
Four Russian teams competed in 4-way Open at the World Cup 2009 in Prostejov, together with one 8-way team, while there was no Russian participation in 4-way Women. Two years later in Germany, Russia had at least one team in each of the three categories (2-1-2). Then the Russian delegation became even larger in Banja Luka in 2013 (3-1-3).

Did you know that French Girls and Golden Knights connect in a friendly rivalry?
posted: Jul 10th, 2015 The first scores of the complete new French Girls lineup at the Coupe de France competition last weekend continues to be in the center of the Sun Path Products NSL News attention.
This time, Golden Knights coach Solly Williams presents the perspective from the US Army position. He has observed the progression of the Golden Knights and the team's pursuit of the top spot in 4-way Women for several years before he became directly involved in 2014.

Did you know that Satori's comeback has become reality?
posted: Jul 3rd, 2015 It has been a long time since the name of the British 4-way team Satori appeared on any leaderboard.
In fact, it was the UK Nationals 2013 where Satori won with a 20.5 average. Julia Foxwell, Aaron Faith, Ian Hodgkinson and John McIver were in the last lineup, with Dave Head on camera.
Two years have gone by, and there is still no leaderboard with Satori on it. However, this may change this year, as the rumors of a Satori comeback have materialized with 24 training jumps on Thursday. There seems to be a realistic chance that Satori will be back on the UK leaderboard later this year.more)
Did you know that the invitations to the World Air Games have been sent out?
posted: May 14th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on May 2nd that Skydive Dubai is hosting the next edition of the World Air Games, which creates an attractive indoor/outdoor competition package together with the Clash of Champions at Inflight Dubai.
The previous editions of the World Air Games took place in Turkey (1997), Spain (2001) and Italy (2009). The format was identical in 1997 and 2001 when the World Championship of Formation Skydiving was included in the World Air Games. It was very different in 2009... (more)

posted: Apr 11th, 2015 The aftermath of the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015 cannot be complete without the results of the Shamrock Showdown Skins Game.
The outdoor season opener in DeLand has included cash awards for the winners since the annual event was launched in 2001. The best teams on the top of the leaderboard take home some cash for their world class performances, while there have always been additional prizes for all participating teams, as well.
