posted: Aug 27th, 2015 The 8-way preview of the FAI World Cup 2015 continues with more interesting information. This time, an update came from France, and it is related to the lineup of the French national 8-way team for 2015 and 2016. The Sun Path Products NSL News reported earlier that the French lineup will be identical with the one that won the 8-way silver medals at the Mondial Dubai 2012 and posted the second highest meet average in history. Did you know that the World Cup showdown in 4-way Women is just around the corner?
posted: Aug 18th, 2015 The situation in 4-way Women at the FAI World Cup 2015 is very different compared to the expected 4-way Open Class competition that the Sun Path Products NSL News covered with the first preview on August 14th. NMP-PCH Hayabusa will most likely walk away with the gold medals, and serious battles can only be expected for the other medal positions and the slots in the semifinals and finals. Did you know that that 22 teams have signed up for the 4-way Open Class competition at the World Cup 2015?
posted: Aug 14th, 2015 The next major 2015 event is the FAI World Cup in Teuge, Netherlands, and it will bring together a very interesting and competitive field in all traditional Formation Skydiving events (4-way Open, 4-way Women, 8-way Open). As usual, the 4-way Open Class competition is the best attended event, and a total of 22 teams from 14 different nations were registered in July. Five additional 4-way teams from five different nations have signed for the competition in 4-way Women, and eight 8-way teams from eight different nations complete the traditional field in Formation Skydiving competition. Did you know that the new 8-way battle between Golden Knights and France begins this year?
posted: Jul 18th, 2015 The history of modern 8-way Formation Skydiving competition has been dominated by the three FS powerhouses. USA, France and Russia have won all medals since 1985, with two exceptions: Canada in 1985 (bronze) and Italy in 2008 (bronze). Of the three leading 8-way nations, the US teams have won 11 of the 16 sets of gold medals. The Golden Knights have claimed ten of the 11 US world titles and are by far the most successful 8-way team project in history. The US Army's 8-way team won all gold medals at world meets between 1987 and 1997 after the Coors took the 1st place for the USA in 1985. The... (more)

Did you know that the invitations to the World Air Games have been sent out?
posted: May 14th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported on May 2nd that Skydive Dubai is hosting the next edition of the World Air Games, which creates an attractive indoor/outdoor competition package together with the Clash of Champions at Inflight Dubai. The previous editions of the World Air Games took place in Turkey (1997), Spain (2001) and Italy (2009).
