posted: May 20th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News published a preview of the 2015 season in Denmark on May 5th. The DFU Cup 2015 took place last weekend and became a victim of bad weather.
The Danish teams had only twice the chance to get some numbers on the scoreboard, and the reigning champions, VAF Warriors, made it very clear who is the team to beat in Denmark this year. Challenger Pangaea could not even get close, and Prime Pickles did not have the event on the team schedule.

Did you know that 4-way kids are challenging their parents in France?
posted: May 19th, 2015 Wind tunnel practice did not only bring a new training tool to skydivers and a new attraction to non-skydivers. It also opened the door for a new generation of teams and competitors.
Teenagers do not have to wait any longer until they turn 18 and are permitted to jump from air planes in most countries of the world. There are no age limits for indoor training and competition, and it did not take very long until the first kids showed up at indoor 4-way competitions.

Did you know that eight teams competed in Florida last weekend?
posted: May 18th, 2015 Eight teams attended the May meet of the Florida Skydiving League last weekend, which was hosted by Skydive City and Skydive DeLand. Three teams missed the meet (DeLand Momentum, DeLand Flashpoint, DeLand 3D), and the first 2-digit participation in years has to wait for the next opportunity in June.
Teiwaz did not have any direct AAA Class competition in the absence of DeLand Momentum, and the DeLand Bees were the only Rookie Class team. Did you know that Savolo defended the South African 4-way title successfully?
posted: May 17th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News introduced Savolo as Voodoo's 4-way successor in South Africa on April 28th, 2014. Savolo competed a few months later as the national team at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014.
The new South African national 4-way team (after Equanimity and Voodoo) now had to defend the national title for the first time and had no problem with doing that.

Did you know that the Thund8rbirds have started their 8-way training?
posted: May 16th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News reported the planning of NMP-PCH Hayabusa's and Thunder's 8-way project the first time on December 12th, 2014, and a few stories followed up with confirmations of the plans.
The project now has a name, and the first 8-way jumps have been completed. The Thund8rbirds completed their first 2-day training camp in Moorsele, Belgium, after 18 jumps.

Did you know that Nikolay Vylegzhanin was as bright as a shooting star?
posted: May 15th, 2015 Russian 8-way world champion Oleg Shalamykhin provided the Sun Path Products NSL News with memories of his former 4-way and 8-way team mate Nikolay Vylegzhanin, who died in a BASE jump accident last year, shortly after competing at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014.
