Did you know that AAARspeed combines the oldest and the latest generation of Airspeed members?
posted: Sep 14th, 2014 The second half of the 10-round competition at the USPA Nationals 2014 is the slower one. Arizona Airspeed was standing with a 30+ average after the first four rounds, however, Mark Kirkby said in his last meet that it was only a fast start into the competition. The new Airspeed member, wo is actually just coming back after a 2-year break, Niklas Hemlin, is also competing at Skydive Chicago. He has joined forces with his Airspeed team mate of 2012, Josh Hall. Dan BC and Jack Jefferies complete the AAARspeed lineup. The... (more)

Did you know that Arizona Arsenal won world meet silver with a team record average?
posted: Sep 13th, 2014 The USPA Nationals 2014 also include VFS 4-way with two categories, Open and Advanced. The number of participating teams is identical with last year's attendance. SDC Standard XP is back after sitting out last year on home turf at Skydive Chicago. Arizona Arsenal won the gold medals at the USPA Nationals 2013 and then represented the USA at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 in Prostejov a few weeks ago. Arsenal finished... Did you know that competition will be tight in the 4-way Intermediate Class?
posted: Sep 13th, 2014 The situation in the 4-way Intermediate Class competition of the USPA Nationals 2014 is very similar to the Advanced Class, as teams decide by themselves to register for this category, with one exception. The winners of previous national championships in the Intermediate Class have to compete in the Advanced or Open Class in the future, and individual members may come back in the same category with a different team. Dallas Khaos Khobalt won USPA's Intermediate Class gold medals last year and are now competing... (more)

Did you know that the 4-way Open Class competition at the USPA Nationals has several interesting topics?
posted: Sep 12th, 2014 This time of the year brings meet after meet to teams and competitors and to the audience. Most of the national championships are being held at the end of the summer season in the western hemisphere. Whenever the world meets or world cups take place in one of the same countries, the national teams have a busier agenda than all other teams, and it is not unusual at all that the nationals take place after the international events. The Sun Path Products NSL News recently covered the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving... (more)

Did you know that teams from Texas might be the top contenders for Advanced Class medals?
posted: Sep 12th, 2014 The Advanced Class competition at the USPA Nationals 2014 uses the same dive pool and sequences as the Open Class teams. It is somehow the official "amateur championship" in the USA, even though several Open Class teams usually perform on the same scoring level, and the best recreational 4-way competitors join forces to compete in the Open Class with very impressive scores, as well. Teams volunteer to sign up either in the Open or the Advanced Class competition. The USPA rules require only the winners of previous... (more)

Did you know that Evolution videos of the world meet reflect unique achievements?
posted: Sep 11th, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News audience had to wait longer than usual to watch videos of the competition action at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014, due to the lack of online services by the hosts. However, the wait for the last missing videos of the top teams is over, as Evolution's videographer and VFS competitor Jean Christophe Oumet provided the footage of the bronze medal winner in Prostejov. It is difficult to summarize briefly what an incredible achievement the 3rd place was for Evolution.... (more)
