Did you know that Prime Pickles and Pangaea are ready to challenge the VAF Warriors?
posted: May 5th, 2015 The start of the competition season in Denmark is coming up soon. The DFU Open us the annual season opener, followed by the national championships in July. The Danish Indoor Championship is scheduled once again at Bodyflight Bedford in October. It seems to become an exciting race for the top position in Denmark this year, and the results of the World Challenge 2015 provided a preview of the competition between two of the three potential top contenders, Prime Pickles and Pandora/Pangaea. Pangaea competed under the name Pandora in Bedford, as the team did not have the complete lineup available.... (more)

Did you know that Oleg Shalamykhin shares his memories of Nikolay Vylegzhanin?
posted: May 4th, 2015 The recent Sun Path Products NSL News story on April 28th explained the plans of the Russian 8-way team Tanay for this year and for the 2016 world meet season. The same story brought back memories of a Russian 4-way and 8-way competitor who was a member of several different world class lineups, including Barkli's 4-way and 8-way lineups. Nikolay Vylegzhanin was Barkli team mate with Tanay's 8-way player coach Oleg Shalamykhin in 4-way and 8-way at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014. Did you know that the Qatar Tigers continue their pursuit of the world's TOP 6?
posted: May 3rd, 2015 The Qatar Tigers appeared on the SKYLEAGUE.COM leaderboard the first time in January 2011 after competing at the DIPC 2011, and they have been a part of the international 4-way community ever since. Coach Luc Verstrepen, former NMP-PCH Hayabusa member, guided his 2012 lineup (Fahad Aljehani, Rashid Alkubaisi, Hamad Almari, Aziz Alshamari, with Pavel Skotak on camera) through Qatar's first world meet in Dubai 2012 where they finished short of the semifinals with a 17.0 average after Round 8. Did you know that Dubai offers a new indoor/outdoor combo at the end of the year?
posted: May 2nd, 2015 The Paraclete XP Indoor and Outdoor Championships have offered a unique and attractive combination for Formation Skydiving competition teams in 2014 and 2015. The teams still had to travel from Raeford (North Carolina) to DeLand (Florida) to attend both events. However, the indoor/outdoor combo required only one week of time, including both weekends, unless teams extended the visit for additional training before or after the meets. A new indoor/outdoor combo has now been added to the 2015 schedule, and it does not require additional traveling, once the teams have arrived at the location of... (more)

Did you know that the Indoor Cloud League gets busy at the end of each month?
posted: May 1st, 2015 The Indoor Cloud League competition always heats up towards the end of each month. That's the time when the collected footage of each team's performances is being sorted and uploaded, or when the teams submit new videos with better scores than the previously posted ones. SkyVenture New Hampshire posted the first videos and scores in April, iFLY Orlando and Hurricane Factory followed up not much later. iFLY Seattle was next with new scores, and the group's RR Class lineup is currently winning this category. Djordje Mandaric and Dmitry Rudchenko guided Nancy McFadden and Jay Alspach to the 25-pointer.... (more)

Did you know that Niklas Hemlin provided a new Airspeed update?
posted: Apr 30th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News story on February 17th provided an update from the Arizona Airspeed headquarters in Eloy after the Wind Games 2015 and before the Paraclete XP Indoor and Outdoor Championships 2015. Niklas Hemlin explained that his team was in an "experimental phase" at that time. Airspeed actually continued with trying more and different options for the continuity plan throughout the next two meets in Raeford and DeLand, as Niklas Hemlin now told the Sun Path Products NSL News during a new live NSL Talk on Tuesday.
